The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Framingham State University, invites you to the 2nd annual People of Color in Criminal Justice (POCCJ) Conference on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. The theme of this year's conference is "resiliency".
The POCCJ Conference is the only of its kind in New England, a forum to address the unique perspectives and issues of professionals of color working in and studying all areas of the criminal justice system. The goal of this conference is to promote the mentoring, leadership, and wellness of people of color working in criminal justice careers, and examine the theoretical and practical aspects of criminal justice work through the lens of people of color in the field.
Early bird registration for the conference begins on March 20th and costs $50. Regular registration will begin on April 9th and costs $65. Registration will close on May 4th.
