The Office of Community Affairs is responsible for overseeing a variety of programs for community members of all ages. Community Affairs operates the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Youth Public Safety Academy (YPSA) for youngsters ages 8-12; facilitates the Special Citizens Academy; serves as the main point of contact for the MSO’s R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) Program; and coordinates presentations on scams and senior safety issues through the Law Enforcement and Residents Networking (L.E.A.R.N.) Program.
