Welcome to the 2017 People of Color in Criminal Justice Conference

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Framingham State University, invites you to the People of Color in Criminal Justice (POCCJ) Conference on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 8:00AM to 3:00PM.  This conference, the first of its kind in New England, will provide a forum to address the unique perspectives and issues of professionals of color working in and studying all areas of the criminal justice system.

The goal of the POCCJ Conference is to promote the mentoring, leadership, and wellness of people of color working in criminal justice careers. The conference will examine the theoretical and practical aspects of criminal justice work through the lens of the experiences of people of color in the field.

We hope that you will consider attending what is sure to be a powerful, informative discussion of important matters facing the criminal justice community.
