Bank Robbery Suspect Returned to Face Charges

Oliver W Walsh, 30, of Hopedale, has been returned to Massachusetts to face charges related to the October 24, 2017 robbery of the TD Bank on Washington Street in Holliston, Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Holliston Police Chief Matthew Stone and Harold H. Shaw, special agent in charge of the FBI Boston Division announced today.

Members of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Warrant Apprehension Unit returned Walsh to Massachusetts Tuesday evening from Pennsylvania.  Walsh was arrested following an investigation by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force and Holliston Police Department, and the posting of a $10,000 reward for information.  The FBI took Walsh into custody with the assistance of the Pottsville (PA) Police Department on June 20.

Walsh is scheduled to be arraigned today in Framingham District Court.  A co-defendant, Patricia S. Desena, 33, of Milford, was arrested on June 19 and is currently being held without bail.
