The 34th Basic Training Academy

Week Four:

Classroom learning took precedence during Week 4 of the Academy.  Recruits engaged in discussion and seminars on Constitutional Law, First Responder, Sexual Harassment and Communication Skills.  They also began to experience Disorder Management, an ongoing process necessary for life in the corrections world.

Despite a week of mental rigors, the Academy staff ensured that no one forgot about the job’s physical aspect.  Daily PT was taken to the next level as exercises and expectations were kicked up a notch.
