
MSO IN TRAINING...
The 34th Basic Training Academy
Week 3:
Monday started off with Platoon Alpha conducting searches at the Billerica House of Correction. Platoon Bravo stayed back at the Training Academy where they were took classes on mental health and CORI law.
Officer Crowley instructed the recruits on the vital processes of CPR.
They continued classroom learning with an introduction to Constitutional Law – a class that will run throughout the end of the Academy.
By midweek Officer Crane decided the recruits were ready to take a stab at defensive tactics. Although hectic at first, the recruits settled down and began gaining the physical skills necessary to stay safe.
A class on communication skills helped prepare the recruits for their first major challenge: a day working the tiers in week four.
