Holiday Cheer Spreads at the Middlesex House of Correction in Billerica

On Monday December 21, 2009 the New Christian Ministries Choir from Lowell, MA and the New Fellowship Baptist Church from Nashua, NH visited the Middlesex House of Correction in Billerica to perform a holiday concert for approximately 66 inmates and various staff.  This group has always been supportive of the inmate programming provided at the institution.  Every Monday night Protestant services are provided under the organization of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office’s fulltime chaplain, Reverend Milton Thomas.  This Monday was special however, bringing the Christmas season into the Middlesex House of Correction in Billerica.  These guests’ kindness and generosity reflected the joyous spirit of the holiday season.  It was an enjoyable night had by all.
