Sheriff meets with officials in Washington, discusses opioid epidemic

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian (from left) recently joined Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Michael Botticelli and Congresswoman Niki Tsongas (MA – 3) for a briefing with members of the Massachusetts Congressional Delegation. The briefing focused in part on state and national efforts to address the ongoing opioid epidemic, and was part of a series of meetings members of the Massachusetts Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) participated in in Washington, D.C. February 9-10, 2016.
