WEEK THREE
< back

The third week at the Academy upped the ante for the cadets both academically and physically. Lessons in communication skills and constitutional law were combined with several days of concentrated policy and procedure seminars. The inmate count procedure was continued, focusing on different scenarios and facilities.

The physical portion of week three revolved around defensive tactics: blocks, holds and restraints. These crucial skills make certain our cadets have the physical tools and mental toughness to maintain the safety of a Middlesex facility.
