WEEK FOUR
< back

Recruits got a look at their future work environment in Week Four. They were brought on a tour of the Cambridge Jail for the first of several important introductions to the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office facilities. In order to do their job with the utmost efficiency and safety recruits must be familiar and comfortable in their surroundings.

Also this week the recruits learned how to use restraints and continued their drill and ceremony training with Deputy Dave Ellison.

In the classroom recruits began a basic Spanish language course, communication skills course and continued their criminal law studies. Disorder management and computer skills training were also on tap for Week Four.
